Auckland ADHD Conference 2026: Kia Ora and Thank You, Auckland! π
Kia ora, Auckland! Our third New Zealand ADHD Conference brought the ADHD and neurodivergent community together at WGHS Events Centre in Takapuna for a full day of learning, lived experience and connection. With six inspiring speakers, MC Kadon Captain, local exhibitors and plenty of real conversations, hereβs a look back at the Auckland ADHD Conference 2026. π
Kia ora, Auckland! π Three years in, and our New Zealand community just keeps growing.
On Saturday 22 August 2026, the 3rd Annual New Zealand ADHD Conference came together at the WGHS Events Centre in Takapuna.

From the first welcome to the final conversations of the afternoon, the day was full of thoughtful questions, lightbulb moments, shared experiences, practical ideas and plenty of moments that made people think, βOhβ¦ that makes so much sense.β
So many "aha" moments π€
This yearβs program brought together speakers exploring ADHD from very different but deeply connected perspectives.

- π¬ Lauren Quirke, founder of SomentΓ©, on Why Your Child Isn't Responding, & How to Communicate So They Can.
- π§Έ Zoe Horner, paediatric OT and founder of Little Treasures, diagnosed with ADHD at 13, on Helping ADHD Individuals to Thrive Through Occupational Therapy.

- βοΈ Jaime Rose-Peacock, Auckland employment law specialist and founder of Marbles People & Culture Hub, on ADHD Workplace Rights & Responsibilities.
- π‘ Yvonne Moy, occupational therapist, ADHD coach and parent, on Strategies for Parenting the ADHD Brain.
- π Dr Dianne Grocott, psychiatrist with 30 years' experience, closed with Optimising ADHD Medication.

And a big thank you to our MC, Kadon Captain, founder of Open Minded, for guiding the day through the day with warmth, energy and plenty of heart.
More than what happened on stage

Conversations continued over coffee. People swapped notes, shared experiences, asked questions, discovered new resources and met others who simply understood where they were coming from.

Our exhibitor area was another big part of the day, giving attendees the chance to connect with organisations and services supporting the neurodivergent community.

We were so grateful to have all of you: Davis Pacific, NZ TelePsych Network, OT4U, Loffty, Auren Wellness (hello, HushBuds π§), Manuera Life Developments, ASZO and Sister Sensory.
You helped our Auckland whΔnau find support close to home. π«Ά
